hello & welcome

After putting it off for far too long, and grinding away at what you see before you for the past few weeks, sporadically and in the late hours of the night, behold. My website is live!

There’s something to be said for taking the time to separate yourself from various social media platforms and using a personal website as a sole source for showing your work. In my opinion it shows that what ever you’re creating has a deeper meaning and is of a higher quality than what simply sharing posts on facebook can convey. Although that is after all, an opinion.

I’ll still be using Facebook, Instagram, etc. but this site will become the focal point of my posts and client contact. Plus, let’s be honest, the less time wasted on social media the better.

I’m definitely a photographer before a writer, but I plan to update the blog on a somewhat regular basis. I feel writing, regardless of how creative, is an important practice for people from any walk of life. Besides when it comes to creative practices, one often begets the other.
